A: eTrikes may be operated by persons 16years or older. Generally, adults and seniors ages 55+ are finding our electric trikes to work best for local transportation. Small business, municipalities and government agencies are discovering electric tricycles to be a great golf cart alternative.
A: At the present time, eTrikes must generally follow the same rules and regulations as pedal bikes, eBikes and eScooters. eTrikes are not permitted on highways, interstates, and major roads with speed limits higher than 30 miles per hour unless a bike lane is present.
A: Aside from being awesome, eTrikes are great to own:
- If you want an easy, simple and eco-friendly way to travel around your town with no gas or insurance needed and minimal maintenance. Most models do not require a drivers license or registration to operate.
- If you need mobility assistance – our ETR100, ETR300 ETR500HT models can be used as OPDMD (Other Powered Driven Mobility Devices).
- If you live in an area where parking or traffic congestion are issues and want a more efficient, yet stable way to get around.
- If your business needs to reduce transportation costs, downsize vehicles for more space, indoor transportation and/or reduce carbon footprint.
A: eTrikes can travel 30- 65 miles on a full charge depending on the tricycle.
A: At the present time, the ETR40, ETR100, ETR300, & ETR500HT do not require insurance, license or registration and must generally follow the same rules and regulations as pedal bicycles and can only be operated on residential streets (30mph or below), bike lanes and bike paths.
Some models, including the ETR80, ETRiTango, ETR100C, ETR300U, may require license, registration & insurance. Depends on jurisdiction.
The ETR200C requires license, registration & insurance to be operated on public roads in the USA.
eTrikeCo does not make any promises on where and how they can be operated. As eTrikes are new to the vehicle landscape, please stay informed about the laws in your jurisdiction governing their operation.

A:
- eTrikes are three wheeled making them more stable than bikes.
- They also have a low step through making them easier to get on and off of.
- Most eTrikes also have onboard storage for carrying gear, bags, groceries, etc.
- Most all eTrikes also have two seats for double riders.
- eTrikes are generally less expensive than golf carts and require less maintenance.
- Most of our eTrikes do not require a license, registration or insurance to operate anywhere bikes are permitted, while such regulations vary for golf carts depending on location and their minimum and maximum speeds.
- eTrikes may operate on sidewalks. bike lanes, bike paths where bikes are permitted, while golf carts may not. Several models are great mobility devices for people with disabilities.
- Our ETRiTango, ETR40, ETR100 & ETR300 models can fit through standard US doorways for indoor use.
A: It depends on the jurisdiction. Most of our eTrikes being used for mobility needs as an ADA electric mobility device can be ridden on sidewalks. For leisure purposes there could be more restrictions of use, depending on your local laws.
A: As with bikes, most eTrikes may be parked in bike stands, vehicle parking spots, or anywhere not obstructing pedestrian walk ways, fire hydrants or entrances to businesses.
A: No. Our eTrikes are too big for theme parks.
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Check, Cash and Pay Pal. If it is not possible for you to make payment using these forms, please contact us directly to discuss other potential options.
A: Color variations, if applicable, are shown under the product description. Contact us for special orders.
A: We are unable to customize the paint and do not provide vehicle wrapping services. However, these after market services are readily available in most US cities.
A: eTrikeCo’s trikes cannot be broken down for stowaway. If you have a tow hitch, a carrier can be purchased for transport or motorcycle trailer can be rented from Uhaul at $14 per day + tax. We recommend mightyhauler.com to purchase a carrier.
A: eTrikes can be purchased online at eTrikeCo.com/shop, by coming to our warehouse in Clearwater, Florida or by calling us at 844-874-5326.

A: We provide free shipping anywhere in the continental US. Our actual shipping cost for eTrikes without hard tops is $635 and eTrikes with hard top roofs is $1500.
A: If the product is in our current inventory, please allow up to 30 days for delivery from the time of purchase. We ship fully assembled via enclosed or open trailer. There is no unboxing or trash. If products are on back order, estimated delivery is typically 90 days but could be as long as 180 days. You will be notified of shipping status upon placing your order, or you may contact us directly at info@etrikeco.com for current inventory information.
A: We will replace items if they are defective or damaged within 5 days after purchase. To exchange for the same item please send an email to support@etrikeco.com. In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product we will absorb the return shipping costs.
A: We accept returns for up to 5 days after you have received your eTrike. After 5 days we are unable to offer a refund or an exchange. Please note:
- Contact support@etrikeco.com for returns. You must contact us before returning your purchase.
- To be eligible for a return your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- It must be returned in its original packaging.
- You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning an item.
- The shipping costs we paid when we shipped your eTrike to you after purchase will be deducted from your refund.
- We will receive and inspect your returned item, and email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. In that same email we will tell you if your refund is approved or rejected.
- A $250 restocking fee will be charged on all returns.
If approved for a refund, it will be processed within 7 days and returned back to your credit card or original payment method, minus the shipping costs from the time of your purchase.

A: Yes,
Your eTrike comes with an industry leading 2-year electric drivetrain non-transferable warranty from the date of purchase. This covers the most important and expensive parts including your motor, battery and controller. All other components aren’t covered under warranty. Most of these wear and tear parts are under $100. If any component of the eTrike is defective or prevents safe and effective operation during the warranty period, please contact eTrikeCo immediately for service before operating the vehicle. Service and repair during the warranty period must be completed by eTrikeCo or an authorized party.

The following actions render the warranty null and void:
Damage caused when the operator fails to use and maintain the eTrike in full compliance with these instructions.
Improper use of the eTrike, including but, not limited to collisions with other objects, overloading the eTrike, and chemical corrosions.
Any and all damage caused by human factors.
Damage as the result of unauthorized disassembly and/or modification of the
Damage caused by improper storage or accident, including as the result of a power surge while charging.
Does not include wearing parts like arm rests, seats, switches, brakes, rims, light bulbs, display and tire tread. Charger is not included in warranty.
