Manufacturer Statement

At the request of Electric Bike Technologies, Inc., CPSC included the following statement in accordance with Section 6(b)(1) of the Consumer Product Safety Act:

“Electric tricycles, by their nature, have different turning dynamics than two-wheeled bicycles. During turning maneuvers, weight shifts toward the outer wheel, which can increase the risk of tip-over if a turn is taken too sharply or at excessive speed, particularly on slopes or uneven surfaces. Liberty Trike emphasizes rider education and encourages all riders to operate tricycles cautiously, especially when turning.”
