Lectric eBikes Reviews
Lectric eBikes has quickly become one of America’s fastest-growing electric bike companies, selling over 400,000 eBikes in just four years.
Founded in 2019 by childhood friends Levi Conlow (CEO) and Robby Deziel (CINO), Lectric eBikes was born from a mission to create high-quality, affordable eBikes. The inspiration came from Levi’s father, who was searching for an accessible eBike option. Combining Levi’s visionary business acumen with Robby’s mechanical expertise and creativity, the duo introduced the Lectric XP series—a foldable, comfortable, and budget-friendly eBike that quickly became a hit. The name “XP” pays homage to their friendship, rooted in shared video game adventures and the concept of “experience points.”
Lectric XP Trike Review
The Lectric XP Trike, priced at $1,499 (on sale), is a foldable electric trike designed for versatility and ease of use. Powered by a rear motor, it supports a top speed of 14mph with a beginner mode limiting speed to 5mph for new riders. Weighing just 69.5 pounds, it’s lightweight for its category and supports up to 330 pounds, with a total payload capacity of 415 pounds. Hydraulic disc brakes and a dual-differential axle enhance safety and stability, while 20” x 2.6” tires provide good traction on light off-road terrain.
The XP Trike’s folding frame, integrated lights, parking brake, and adjustable handlebars make it convenient and accessible for riders of various heights (4’10” to 6’4”). Testers praised its climbing ability and smooth handling, especially in turns.
However, some owners reported issues with damaged parts during shipping. Taller riders may experience slightly less leg extension than expected, and the lack of a backrest on the seat might be inconvenient for some riders but can be purchased separately. Overall, the XP Trike is a compact, reliable, and user-friendly option for those seeking an affordable electric trike.
